PlayStation 4 Available to 11 More Countries, Totals 48 Countries to Date

PlayStation 4 is now available to 11 more countries on top of the existing 37 countries, bringing the total country retailing the PlayStation 4 up to 48. Players in Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and South Africa will be happy to know that their country are among the 11 countries that has just received the PlayStation 4.

Yep! It's available here in South Africa from today :) I am dying of excitement to get mine tomorrow, so trying to avoid all manners of social media where people are posting their pictures of it and making me a sad potato :(

Very keen to fire up Killzone and Knack! I have noted the critical reception of Knack, but I like to get my own opinion and I don't always agree with the majority of critics :) Funnily enough though, I am one myself.

I like your attitude, I went and bought Knack day One and I am not dissapointed at all! A very fun game with a very cool story.

Thanks guys for the great comments and information about Knack! I don't mind a good old-school game, and I certainly appreciate something different rather than a console hypothetically opening with a bunch of military shooters for example :P Will definitely be playing it tomorrow ;)

X1 2 million is 18 day sales numbers, we don't have 18 day sales numbers for PS4 yet. 2.1 for PS4 is from November the 15th until December the 1st.....expect them to be WELL OVER 2.1 mil after 18 days. If Sony were able to keep up with demand we would have an even larger margin. More people want a PS4, more people have bought a PS4. Facts.

The 2.1 mil isn't for 48 countries either, it's for 37.

I don think it's fair to compare sales atm. There was date differences and it's complicated with all the locations and stuff.

The only fair comparisions would be after christmas in the UK and US. An extra week here or there wont really be a difference after xmas because if you were going to get it at launch you would before xmas.

Makes sense...They are acting like it would be impossible for a European to grab a train and go to a other country that have xbones....lol! Its a lot easier for a person to go from any country in Europe to a other than for me to go from Ottawa to Vancouver...The train system is very quick and cheap in Europe....

Got mine today ... Can't let go of the controller been playing non stop ever since i got it Haha ... The waiting line was huge despite the fact that Kuwait is a small country with a small gaming community. Some games like Knack are criminally underrated while others like COD: Ghost are sadly too overrated (REMEMBER this is my opinion not a fact).
