To be honest most of those countries are Sony land anyway, but you don't want to just give them an easy win, and every sale counts. It's unfortunate, but the effects of Kinect in every box is starting to show the downside at least for launching around the world.

EU and Asia are practically an easy win for Sony, I can't image trying to add language functionality for China with the XBO (NIGHTMARE). Well this gives Nintendo / Steambox a real chance at second place in those areas.

What is really bad is this isn't their first run with the Kinect (which was released 3 years ago). This language excuse is a poor excuse (what they originally said a while back) . For a company that deals with one of the biggest software packages around and what I just said about the original kinect, language cannot be new be new to them

There should be no reason why they can't launch everywhere by the end on January (I give allowances for Christmas as they might want to concentrate on certain regions)
