1yr ago I paid $30 for 8GBs of 1866 DDR3 RAM(1600 was $25). What the hell happened?

I agree, RAM was usually $40 for 8GB, and $60 for 16GB. If I remember correctly there was suppose to be this storm that hit a major RAM production facility, and it screwed the pricing, but come on. It's time to get prices back down.
