Are Disney Testing the Waters for The Incredibles 2?

Disney Infinity launched this August and immediately exploded with popularity. The game that everyone thought would end up being “Skylanders, but with Disney characters” exceeded everybody’s expectations and really did deliver on its promise to recreate the experience and wonder of a child at play. One thing that has been a sour point for many older Disney fans however, has been that none of the classic characters from Disney‘s past have been included – Even Mickey himself wasn’t included in the launch line-up of figures. It's a crime that Disney has not milked (and I mean this in a positive way) the Incredibles franchise. It can easily be turned into a movie franchise and even a kids TV show..

At the end of the first Incredibles movie when they revealed the Underminer, I thought for sure we were going to see a sequel.....

I really think the Underminer was just a tongue-in-cheek, cheesy/campy villain to cap off the film in a fun way.

if i remember correctly, the ending of the movie provided the link to the video game (well the DS version as far as I know).

The reason they didn't was because they had a series of projects that they wanted to do- ending in WALL-E.

I think the recent "Monster Inc" Sequel is a sign that they are now ready to do sequels-
(And isn't there a sequel to "Finding Nemo" in the works?)

Toy Story is a whole other thing...

yeah Ellen broke the news on her show about that sequel. But it's been delayed due to other projects they need to finish first. That one isn't scheduled to release until like 2016 now.
