Knack has a weird problem — it feels like it’s both built to be played by two people in cooperative mode, and very much not, at the same time.
I this on black Friday for $35 so I decided to buy it. I wasn't expecting much because of all tth reviews I read, but I have to say this is a really fun game. You're right, the graphics are beautiful, the lighting, particle effects and everything about it is well done visually. I think game deserves at least a 9 for fun factor, 10 for graphics, 7 for controls, 9 for sound track. It does get a little repetitive but perfecting Knacks skills and finding secret passages takes time and exploring adding a little extra dimension to the game. I'm glad I bought it. I sat and played for 6 straight hours last night and I haven't don't that since the NES days! I think it's a must play for PS4 owner just to see see how powerful the PS4 is and it's only the beginning of the generation. It's also easy to play too, imagine Mario mixed with a GoW factor to it, so I'm flying right through it.
I also played this last night for about 3 hrs & I also agree that Knack is fun & the graphics are gorgeous right down to the lighting & textures,I would definitely give Knack an 8 out of 10.
I feel Sony and Mark Cerny got robbed with all the bad reviews. I'm at the last boss battle and at some parts of the game I felt it deserves 10/10. Over all, I'd give it 8.5/10. Lots of fun. Played it on easy after being scared how hard it is.
