Nintendo needs two things to get people on board with its console. One is broad third party support. The safest and easiest way for Nintendo to allow this is through Cloud game streaming. They could for example partner up with OnLive and instantly have graphically demanding games like Crysis at decent settings streaming on WiiU if the bandwidth is there and so forth. Although not ideal for everyone it does put an option on the table.

Two is to move WiiU units. Only way that happens is through price drops at this point. Although I suspect some strong Nintendo titles will help. Nintendo's only games seem to be mainstream G rated stuff. They are only appealing to one audience. They need to expand that a bit.

Playfire is okay. It just isn't special.
