Watch the guys play through the first races using the Thrustmaster T500 RS steering wheel below.

Gran Turismo 6 will come to the Playstation 3 starting December 6. featuring 1200 cars, 150 of which will be new to Gran Turismo.

As announced by Kazunori Yamauchi, the distinction between standard & premium models will remain.

GT6 will also come with 33 tracks, with seven locations being all-new including Silverstone, the home of Nissan’s GT Academy competition. (Gran Turismo 6, Kazunori Yamauchi, PlayStation, PS3)

I almost watched this, then as soon as the intro started I quickly stopped. I need to wait until this Friday. I shouldn't ruin it.

Well I have to give it to PD this looks like a great game. To me GT5 always felt unfinished and had too many issues in terms of frame rate drops and screen tare but from this video its all been sorted out. Looks amazing for last gen hardware I don't think it looks as good as Forza 5 but I never expected it to as its on old hardware but this is a must own game for car fans. Im gutted I sold my PS3 now but may have to pick one up cheep some time next year and grab this. It looks like the game I wanted in 5 big well done to PD and anyone who is getting this are in for a treat looking at this video. :-)

And still, after 15 years, it sounds like shit!!!

Maybe remove excess poop from your ears before you play the game.......just a thought

Sounds like shit? Dude, what have you been hearing or watching? Last I saw Gt6 videos, I heard cars :L

I watched the whole hour and the engines still sounded like vacuum cleaners.

Every other car game can do better sound these days while PD have their heads stuck in the sand with the ancient sound design.

Even the most blinkered fanboy can't think that those engine sounds are good?

I love the GT series, I really do, I remember paying £70 for GT1 on import way back when, but the sounds have always let it down, and I can't understand why.

I agree. I've had every GT game as well and I'm sorry but when you put straight racing exhaust on a car with a v8 it shouldn't sound like a Japanese sport bike.
And I would know that the sounds are bad, they have my personal vehicle in the game and it doesn't even sound close to the same.
Edit: haven't played gt6 yet though.

It seems to be a bit of a trait with racing car games.
Shift was one of the very few racing titles where the engine sound effects really gave you that deep coarse roar of engines.

Im crazy about this game honestly...on a side note I cant believe how good it looks, its hard to think its possible without the "cloud" to make a racing game look so good (Yeah the system is over 7 years old but that's beside the point)...

I haven't really been following GT very closely, but only 7 locations seems a bit odd. I mean everyone was complaining about Forza's 14 locations. I hate to hear how much crap GT is going to get for only half that.
MitchellK  +   222d ago
7 new locations... 33 tracks. Over 100 layouts and track generator. Don't get why it would get crap for having more than double the locations of forza.

Edit:I think you misread the article.

Oh!...yeah, I did. Thanks for the clarification.

I think people just got mad at the new forza because it has less stuff than its own predecessor. And no problem.
