In an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation, Hideo Kojima talked a bit about Metal Gear Solid V.
Kinda like "80% of the time, it works every time".
Not even 60%. Some percent of the game is 100% complete. I'm also pretty sure they started to utilize 100% of the hardware in some areas. I'm also 100% percent confident some people will love this game. Hell, I'm even 100% positive and somewhat hyped for 100% of this half of MGS5!
It doesnt matter what percentage of the game is complete . kojima and his team , like Blizzard (well at least the blizzard of old) and Valve and a select few studios , are capable of obsessing for month over redoing and getting right some parts , and getting more polish . Wich i dont actually mind
I also don't mind long development cycles, but what bugs me is talking about a game and showing stuff 2-3 years before its release. It makes the wait unbearable!!
Personally i dont mind . i'm a "when it's ready it's ready" guy , and i actually enjoy having news every once in a while about a game , and i can't blame someone who never gave even a date . it was cases like FF Versus that bugged me , with nothing to show for years except the same custscene . Either way i doubt anyone got an issue finding games catering to their own interests , while waiting for a slow to release megahit
Well I should hope so, ins't the game coming out in spring. Thats less then 6 months away.
Ground Zeroes is coming 2014 but Phantom pain will probably be 2015
I'm exhausted of metal gear (not Revengence though) I wanna see where he will take the next Zone of Enders game!
You say this when clearly this metal gear is going in a new direction.
If you are exhausted then you are not a fan, I never tire of the amazing stories kojima has to tell. I still have yet to finish peace walker but I am going to before GZ comes.
Game development has changed..
RAM control. GPU control. CPU control. Console control.
Everything is monitored, and kept under controughhl' - in a 80 year old grunty voice.
60% of the game is 100% done.
