Top 15 Video Game Characters From the PS3/Xbox 360 Era

Entertainment Buddha's Matt Heywood writes, "Luckily, throughout the PS3/360 generation many memorable characters infested the games we played, and each one left an impression on us that made them stand out from the pack. Now that the next generation of gaming is upon us it’s a great time to take a look back at some of the more impressionable characters from the PS3/360 era. There were hundreds of them, but fifteen truly stand out from the rest of the bunch."

You could make a top generation of this generation and have half of them Mass Effect characters, this guy decides to put one of the blandest of them in there which is essentially an extension of ourselves

Tali, Wrex, Garrus, Mordin? All are more memorable that Jodie Holmes

I agree, more Bioware characters. Some of the ME guys, Hawke, Varric, Alistair, Shale, etc. A lot of the list aren't really good characters anyways. Let's face it, Kratos, MC, Delta Squad and the Bioshock 1 guy aren't anything special. They're just burly dudes with weapons trying to get from point A to point B.

I agree there is a lot of pointless people on here. Nate should be way way higher, and Jodie Holms? Really lol, thats the number 1 of the whole generation, fuck no. Hell I would put sackboy on the damn list over half the people on this one. Glados was a well written character. Ellie to me was the best character over the gen, such a refreshing change to the typical video game female.

I love how the number one spot went to a game that just came out last month. I'm assuming he's just an Ellen Page fan, regardless it's to new a game to say the character bested every other character in the entire generation.

What about the rebirth of Rayman? Lets face it Rayman was going downhill fast until Rayman Origins came out and then redefined in Legends. I can't wait to see what Ubisoft does next with the series.

The rest of the list is great though especially Commander Shepard.

My Favorite has to be Steve Ballmer!

"David Cage and Quantic Dream have become synonymous with video game storytelling."

As soon as I read this what little credibility this list already had was thrown violently out the window.
