Attack On Gaming (in the) Media: Xbox One Letter Controversy

A must read. This is a commentary on the media and their claims of misogyny on the part of Microsoft in the Xbox One marketing move involving a certain letter.

Gaming is a predominantly male activity.. There is a segment of women that play but a majority are males. The opposite can be said of knitting, not very men knit but some do. So its very easy to draw the conclusion that the tone of microsoft's ad was one of a male to a female.. This is where the claims of mysogony is derived regardless of the intent.. Marketing teams should know better than to have such lose messaging.. Chalk this up to another MS PR blunder..
