Got BF4 on PS4 for $20, and a Wii U deluxe for $200 great BF deals.

BF4 on PS4 for $20? Where was that? I picked it up for $25 on the PC and know that a lot of places are selling the 360/PS3/PC versions close to this price.

The best I have seen X1/PS4 versions is $50.

@Out1awed

At a local store "Cargo Largo". On sale $40 for BF, +20% off the entire store, +20% off the first 100 shoppers, +10% off for shoppers with their Tote Bag.

Amazing deals :D

Damn, lucky bastard. Although I already bought the digital version for my PS4 at launch so it wouldn't have mattered.

And just to be clear that disagree wasn't from me.

I got excited when they said Bf4 for $20, but to bad its not for newer consoles though.

DL'ing BF4 off Origins right now. Never used Origins before but hopefully everything works well.

I'm hoping for a similar to PS4 experience.

PC Specs aren't great but it should do:

8 GB RAM , Ivy Bridge i5 3570, AMD 7770, I'm hoping I can play on high settings with around 60 FPS.

* It should be better for AMD 7000 series graphics cards once the API Mantle stuff happens coming up real soon.

Also I have Windows 8, which I heard runs the game more efficiently.

Seems Steam downloads faster for me though.

Origins says 2.25 mb/s right now, which is what Steam always says but steam ends up downloading it much faster.

I think this is actually going at 2.25.

I have 50 mb/s speed so I was hoping for faster...makes the wait even worse.

I was going to wait for BF4 via PS4, but for $20-30 it's hard to pass up.

I also want to see what my PC can do, just had it built for $600 in March.

Well first off it's Origin not Origins. :P

It really depends on your ISP. I have a friend that has 50mbps down through Verizon and his Origin downloads are always extremely throttled.

I have 50mbps as well via Suddenlink and it always gets the full 6.5MBps download. Actually Origin freaking hit 18MBps for me once, which is more than twice the 50mbps I pay for.

So just like netflix and anything else, it all depends on your ISP and how much of a dick they are.

Your PC specs look decent. Hopefully you can get 60fps on high. I don't have a lot of experience with the AMD cards over the past few years so I can't say for sure.

Also I bought BF4 on the PS4 for friends and I have to say I hate using the controller. I need the mouse and keyboard so bad. I guess this might not be a issue for you since you seem to be more a console player in the first place.

@3-4-5

I don't think you're going to get 60fps on high, unless you're playing at 720p.

Just snagged Battlefield 4 on PC for $20 through a Dr. Pepper/Origin promo I found on Slick Deals. Killer deal.

Chxii940d ago

Battlefield 2 Bad company 2 is 1$ on Origin right now

Do people still play it ?

DarthJay940d ago

It's the price of a candy bar. It's worth it just for the campaign.
