DICE tries to silence Battlefield 4 critics on official forums

Want to criticize Battlefield 4 on the official forums? DICE will turn your "upvotes" into "downvotes". (Battlefield 4, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

This studio is just full of themselves. There was obviously a lot of issues with battlefield 4 and made the "beta" pointless since they didn't fix much of what needed to get fixed before releasing the game.

It's just sad Dice has to work for EA.

DICE aren't completely innocent.

Take the BF4 knife for example. Press 6 on PC and take it out and go to knife someone, it will do the animation knife. In BF3, you were able to slash and kill when it was taken out, so why allow someone to waste time to take out the knife to do an animation knife when you can just press F or whatever you key is and get it done.

This is a complete fail on DICE.

Anyone who has played the game knows these issues are a big deal, by trying to hide the truth they just come off as being petty.

The only way to get to these companies is to hold off of purchasing their product and vote with your dollars. I purchased BF4 and love it when it works, but in the future I will be waiting until they get their act together before I purchase another of their games.

Fix the crap and move on, but don't abuse your user base. Particularly when they have a great point.

They rushed for release day, so we can play our games soon as we get our new consoles -> But still.. it's not an excuse for tons of issues.

Really? So I was supposed to look into the future and anticipate these problems? Seeing as how my last experience with BF was on PS3 and I got it months after release so I wasn't aware of their propensity for these issues?

Seems like you should really thing before you paint people with broad brush strokes Mega. Funny how everyone who responded is giving an intelligent contribution, but you roll through with ill informed assumptions. Good show man, good show.

I agree with you completly. I pre-ordered bf4..but next release I will hold off until they get it together. That being said, this game is amazing when working properly!

I really love the game I am having a lot of fun with it. These Issues however are undeniable. A console game should not constantly be crashing.

Vote with your wallet, I was screwed on the last bf on ps3 so I voted with my wallet.

Gamefly got me bf4 on day 1!
