US PS Plus: Soul Sacrifice Free for Members

Kristine Steimer // Sr. Community Specialist writes: One of the most critically acclaimed PS Vita titles, Soul Sacrifice, is now available in the Instant Game Collection. Created by Keiji Inafune, best known for his work on the Mega Man franchise, this action RPG pits you against an evil sorcerer. The question is, how are you going to defeat him when you’re locked up in a fleshy cage? A talking book named Librom (it reminds me of the spell book in Hocus Pocus) is the answer. Librom will transport you back to past events, also known as Phantom Quests, so you can train and develop your power. The game really shines with its “save or sacrifice” combat mechanics, where you’ll need to make key decisions about what you need most (i.e. more health or more magic), or choose to unleash a devastating black rite spell by destroying part of your body. The best way to grasp the game is to try it out, so get to downloading when this becomes free for PS Plus members tomorrow!

I saw friend of my mine playing it and it was great, I thought about buying it but I didn't at the end, saving for ps4. I hope this game will be in EU IGC.

And people say EU PS+ is better ...I want this :'(

It will most likely end up on EU ps+.
We just gotta wait a little.
I believe both American & EU gets good games.

Such a great game! I platinumed it and enjoyed doing so.

Give it a chance to grow on you, I wasn't feeling it at first, but after dedicating some time to it, I grew to love it.

The online is where it's at!

I remember waiting for the demo of this game to hit the PSN vita store and it didn't launch until Wednesday morning... it was the longest wait ever!

Sony is pushing really hard for us plus member to get a vita. I think I will grap one this holiday season.

Sweet. I skipped on this one......till now

Even though I wanted to buy a copy of this title I got really psyched when I read " available"

I grabbed my Vita while I read up to "....tomorrow!"

....then let out an audible awwwwh of disappointment.

Looking forward to tomorrow though and this will give me time to figure out how to make space on my memory card.

Would love it if Sony (as well as MS and Nintendo) would update their stores constantly, ala Steam.

I hate the needless wait for store refreshes. There should always be a fresh stream of content and price changes, IMO.

I agree with you, but I think they are working to continue to improve the service. I think they've come a long way so far. They each have their advantages and disadvantages though IMO. Which is why I use PSN for some things, Steam for others, and still pick up physical copies for my collection when I can.

Man PSN Plus is worth every penny. So far I have beaten 3 games that is valued more than a full year of service.
