Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s Writer Reveals that Content was Cut for Being “Too Authentic”

When developing military shooters such as Battlefield, Call of Duty, or Ghost Recon, developers often go to different lengths to ensure a certain level of authenticity in their games. Due to the nature of its source material, the Ghost Recon franchise has largely been based in realism throughout its run – sometimes, it has had to have had its story elements curtailed for being too realistic.
