interesting numbers. fair to say the next gen has gotten off to a good start. But cod leading the pack is very disappointing. when will people learn!?

Livecustoms949d ago

Its only USA, many EU hate Cod and prefer other games dont worry lol

VG charts is 100% wrong with there numbers, gta v has sold over 20 million units and they still have 10. Million what's wrong with them

Ps4 is doing very well. Hope knack sells well. I really am enjoying it along with killzone sf.

OlgerO949d ago

Yeah man it pisses me off that knack gets such low reviews, its a great game.

I know that VG Chartz is an estimate (based on their own proprietary methods (I guess???)), but 984,212 for the PS4 is listed, when Sony has already said that they SOLD THROUGH TO CONSUMERS over a million PS4s. Sony, as a publicly-traded company, has released a specific statement of "OVER ONE MILLION PS4s SOLD IN 24 HOURS"... Not "almost one million". VG Chartz is close, but no cigar. Still impressive as those sales were only in the US and Canada!

They're still coming to terms with the PS3 selling more than the 360. No surprise they wouldn't have that number updated to actual stats.

Sad to see COD leading. It seems people are just really boring and prefer mundane, generic, formulaic games over innovative ones. If COD doesn't sell as well in EU as in NA, then it might be a great showcase of your average american IQ.
