Adding to our earlier guides on Kinect voice commands and Setting up your Xbox One here is the guide for getting all your friends into a Xbox One party. The great news is you can have up to 32 people in one party.
That's some party *ill bring the beers*
Yeah its 32 active which is huge because 32 all in the same party can listen but only 8 mics can talk at 1 time. I can't stand when several people talk at once so I really don't why you need that many in 1 party but I guess it's cool.
Notes A maximum of eight microphones can be active at one time in parties.
That's unfortunate. Talk about misleading.
LOL, so you would have what 32 people talk at the same time? Basically it means you can have 32 people listen in on a conversation among 8 people at any point in time. That is excessive already. Currently, I can't hear jack if 3 people are talking, let alone 8!
@Nuke Why do you have three people talk all at once? In my parties we let other people talk first then say something.
AWESOME 4 TIMES THE SOCIAL!!! ON THE 1 <3
Imagine everyone tryin to talk at once xD
48 platoon chat + randoms in proxy chat people in Planetside 2 (pc). I wonder if they'll limit the PS4 version.
*Imagines accidentally joining a party full of 32 screaming CoD kids* *Shudders* This will be really useful for large team based games though.
Who has room for for 32 people in their living room?
What? This insnt local, this will be used online when many friends want to come together. Im surprised by 32 though, i had a 360 and the max was 8 i thought it would be like 10 this gen. Good job tho MS
Wow! Just wow.
32 people thats huge., it was only 8 on 360
You can have 32 people in a party, but only 8 can have a mic activated. The rest would be in game chat. It's to keep a possible team of 32 together on BF4 with the new Xbox Smartmatch. No more game lobbies. So, the party system replaces the lobbies.
So cool! Expected more than 8...but 32! Awesome
