The next generation of gaming consoles is finally, finally here. The PS4 and the Xbox One are both lovely in their own lovely ways, but you’d be crazy to get both. So which one — if any — do you pick?
atm PS4 because as you know ps3 had multiple GOTY exclusives and alot of high rated games you couldnt get on PC or 360, Ms have to prove that they will support the xbone Long after 2014 because look what happened the 360 they pretty much dropped support for it after 2009 hardly nothing came out for it, also i want a no kinect xbone as it does not interest me in the slightest.
For me, PS4. But that's just me.
@Pope 2009? You mean the 2011?
No no, you've gotta pick a side, didn't you see South Parks Black Friday episode? lol :)
Well, I have a PS4. Won't get a One for a few years (choice, not monetary issues). I have a Wii U and a strong PC to play the lovely TitanFall, I'm good to go :)
I'll go with the one with the most power and most 1st parties that won GOTY over and over this previous gen.
ps 4: gaming console focused on gaming for gamers by gamers... xb 1: the entertainment juggernaut that plays games. im a gamer first so ill go with the system most focused on gamers. imo, thats the ps4.
Over the years I'v had a mixture of both PS and XBOX and I'v always slightly preferred the XBOX. Looking at the new consoles, King has it spot on here^^ PS4 its going to have to be now.
ryse or uncharted?
Uncharted, no question about it.
Really? Comparing them 2?
@Dirty no, no its not Ryse or Uncharted, its Halo or Uncharted next year.
That would be pretty interesting.. But I'd say Halo. By a mile.
Please, you don't even have to go to that level. Ryse or Resogun? I'd much rather play Resogun. Ryse is barely a rental. Been saying it all along and now the critics have weighed in and agree. Ryse runs below average (dipping into teen frame rates) and is a simplistic and repetitive engine. It never evolves as you progress. Once you played an hour, other than the levels / missions, you played it all as far as mechanics go. I have put as many hours into Resogun that I have most retail games I've purchased. On topic: I have been mainly an MS gamer for over a decade now. I will have an X1 in my home but it wont be mine. I pre-ordered 1 for myself but have since cancelled it. I have absolutely no interest in owning one for now. Maybe down the road that will change. I guess I will see what MS might have to offer and the VGA's and next E3. I'm not holding my breath. I think MS has completely lost the pulse of their consumer base and quite frankly they don't give a toss.
Really? Why not Halo or Gears? Then... I'd say Haloooooooooooooooooooooooo But Ryse or Uncharted... That's a no brainer
PS4 of course :)
Ps4 at first impulse, without even going thru the process of thinking
For me Xbox One. The interface, Skype, Kinect, and future potential of the console IMHO offers much more potential than the PS4. Everyone in my family is getting one not just to Skype together, but to play together. We are really looking forward to it.
Unless you want it for games. Then, PS4 has more potential with better devs, more power (GPU Compute) and sharper gaming focus.
A few more pixels vs a better online experience. Hmmm..
Sharper gaming focus? Sony never seen a future in online gaming but MS did! Everything about XBL caters specifically to the gamer; which completely negates the "PS4 is all about games" argument.
Xbox one for me :) for now.
Considering N4G doesn't like Xbox its not hard to tell which console they're all going for.
both if your a gamer who like games.
pureistashion 4 and maybe an xbox when halo 5 comes out
Xbox One what else?
Ps4 all day, pretty easy decision for me all the flip flopping Xbox did! I prefer a system that focuses on games and not my cable box and I'm a 360 owner for many years and I switched over very easily and the ps4 is grrrreat!
Personally I'm liking my PS4 a lot right now, but I'll be picking an Xbox One up sometime next year hopefully.
PS4 all day every day. I just saw the funniest thing. I just left gamestop and it was totally empty but had like ten people waiting outside. complete opposite of PS4 day.
Be a gamer first, a fan of a brand later.
It's not brand loyalty, people are buying the PS4 because it is a great console. Same reason I bought a Wii U. If you have played them or even gave them a chance you would know.
PS4. Not only will you have the superior multiplat games, but as time goes on, more exclusives as well. Not to mention the remote play functionality, ability to swap hard drives without voiding the warranty, and the $100 you'll save.
I'm getting both for different reasons. But if I had to choose just one, it would be PS4.
