Madden 25 PS4/Xbox One Review: The Fight in the Dog | LVLONE

With any console transition the first batch of games tends to feel a bit on the rough side. Sports games are not immune to this as we’ve seen from the console launches of the Xbox 360 and PS3. Madden takes everything it has on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions but puts a fresh coat of paint on it. The result is a higher def Madden with some slight mechanic tweaks that can change up your game quite significantly.

The story is too old to be commented.

That's the main problem with this game. All they did was put a fresh coat of paint on an old engine. No effort was put into this game at all. When you look at the difference between NBA2K14 on ps3 vs ps4, it's night and day. NFL2K needs to come back bad. Or any NFL competition towards madden. It's a monopoly. They don't have to work hard anymore at making maddens. They can put out a box full of poop and slap madden 26 on it, and people will have to buy it. Why? Because it's the only football game allowed to be made!

like you said its the only football game plus i skipped the current gen version so I'm cool with it. with that being said,EA has been phoning it in with madden for years now and something drastic needs to happen for that to change. As long as they keep buying up the license, they're gonna keep phoning it in.
