Ugh pages....

Anyway, why is this title the most influential games, when it's just a best of the generation list? Like I am sure TLoU and GTAV will inspire something, but they're far too recent to actually call them among the most influential games.

I'm just wondering why they chose to throw Dark Souls in the mix when clearly Demons Souls did it first and, in my opinion, better.

Not a bad list though.

Coming this late in the generation, i don't think they'll inspire anything significant. The next generation is a clean slate, so new inspirations will be given the chance.

the 3 that easily comes to mind are Uncharted 2, Gears of War 1 and Cod4

Dark Souls? But was the Demon's souls that came first?

God of War II or III should be there, look at how many games released that released this generation that are obviously inspired by them. Heavenly Sword, Dante's Inferno, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Darksiders and a bunch of other lesser known titles like the Thor game, Conan etc. Even Ninja Gaiden 3 changed to be more story driven and was made to be more casual friendly to appeal to a mainstream audience and also the DmC reboot was made by a western studio to go for the same audience too.
