Lost in a Blizzard: An outsider’s view of BlizzCon 2013

GamesBeat's Giancarlo Valdes: BlizzCon isn’t for someone like me. If you combine the hours I’ve spent playing StarCraft, Diablo, and World of Warcraft, that number would still be in the single digits. I have no idea who Grommash Hellscream is, nor can I tell you the best strategies to use against the Zerg in StarCraft II. (Blizzard, Culture, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, PC, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor)

It's like sending my father to the show!

Interesting. I could never get into WoW, either.

My buddy pays to watch the show live on his computer. He goes nuts for every little event they do. Sounds like a good time if you're into that sort of thing.

Heh, there's probably a lot of folks who could sympathize.
