Weekly Sales Analysis, 9 November - Call of Duty: Ghosts Debuts

"Overall, hardware sale this week increased by eight percent. Week-on-week sales are up for every platform, except for the Wii U and 3DS. Overall year-on-year sales are down 26 percent. The 3DS is the only platform to be up year-over-year. The DS has the biggest drop year-on-year by percent, at 78 percent

One game debuted in the top 30 this week, down from five last week. Call of Duty: Ghosts (X360) debuted at the top of the charts with sales of 3,236,337. The PlayStation 3 debuted at number two with sales of 2,874,666. The PC version debuted at number nine with sales of 193,674. The game launched in North America and Europe.
