Call of Duty: Ghosts Review | Bag of Games

Josh from Bag of Games writes "Despite the overwhelming negativity and downright cynical comments consistently bombarding each annual iteration of Activision’s juggernaut FPS franchise, Call of Duty has continued to shatter sales records, receive noteworthy commercial and critical success, and accumulate millions of increasingly devoted fans year after year thanks to its unwavering focus on cinematic, popcorn-mulching campaigns – that properly infuse action-packed setpiece moments with engaging, world-hopping narratives, and remarkably fluid, yet extremely addictive competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. However, with Infinity Ward’s undeniably popular Modern Warfare trilogy meeting a satisfying conclusion and Treyarch’s familiar, but increasingly innovative Black Ops series presumably releasing another installment next year, it was only a matter of time before another subtitled entry graced the renown franchise everyone loves to hate. Cue Call of Duty: Ghosts, the latest series emerging from the figurative shadows of Infinity Ward’s development studio, and onto both current and next-gen consoles – releasing on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One’s respective November launch dates – in an explosive spectacle of shrapnel, whirling bullets, and deafening gunfire."

Isn't Neversoft working on a cod game? Hopefully it'll be better than this crap!

Neversoft and Raven Software helped Infinity Ward create Call of Duty: Ghosts. I can't say for sure, but I find it unlikely Neversoft is working on a separate Call of Duty game, though I could be wrong.

ghost is the worst game ever 3/10

You made several good points but I feel you were too generous with a 7.5/10 score.

I really appreciate the feedback :) hopefully next time the score will appeal to you ( in a future review). Just curious, but what would you have given it?

I gave it a 2/5 in a review I wrote a few days after its release. I felt it was more accurate because there nothing about the game that was original.
