Check in: Is the PS4 the leap everyone wanted?

"How about you guys, did you buy a PS4? Did you set it up and revved its 8 GB of GDDR5 Ram to the max? Were you surprised, disappointed or just happy?" (PS4)

Tried the PS4 today at Target, and god damn was it awesome. The DS4 is an amazing controller and fifa was beautiful, I can't wait to get my hands on one

The controller was one of my personal favorite things of the console launch as well. So much better.

Do we know what the cpu clock speed is yet on the ps4?

The whole experience is silky smooth. No more waiting for anything. As soon as u press the ps button it opens up. U can literally change physical discs exiting from one game and starting another in a minute or so. On top of that, the games e gorgeous and its just the beginning. And for those that think there's nothing to play, right nowI have CoD, B4, Killzone...all multi...AC4, resogun, warframe, blacklight retribution and DC Universe. Oh and the stunning NBA 2K14 too. They r all the games we hav got used to playing I November and December...but stunning and so damn smooth. Its worth the price tag...for sure.

NBA 2k14 is mind blowing on ps4 I can't believe how amazing that game looks. killzone also looks amazing at native 1080p it just so detail it's crazy. All the ps4 games I played looks like high end PC games which is a big difference from last gen. But I have to admit 2k14 is the most impressive game I played so far that game is ridiculous.

The game looks gorgeous.

I love every thing about it, the only things that I don't love completely are the UI, and the lack of games, not saying it doesn't have any games, of course it was just launched so we'll get a slew of games eventually.

Like last gen soon your wallet will be crying for mercy lol!.

KZsf has impressed me the most. Those effects are insane.

Never had this problem before at launch trying to stick to one game as i am jumping around from one game to another like a kid on christmas day with too many present.

Big contrast with PS3 launch which i only played Resistance for the longest time lol!

In terms of hardware asthetics though none can beat my shinny 60 giger PS3.

Judging from the titles that are out so far I would say that the ps4 certainly has taken a big leap over ps3.

all games or most run at 60fps which I think is a must by todays standard and with must games running at 1080p native is what we were crying out for bar bf4 however 900p upscaled is still brilliant considering 64players.

just think what we will be playing come 4 years down the line

Love the PS4, hate the controller. Hoping for DS3 support or great third party controllers.

Your 1 in a million the ds4 is amazing. I'm loving pretty much everything about the ps4. The games I've played look and play incredible. Although bf4 needs a patch, and soon. Being unable to party up in it, is redickulas. Especially if u compare launch ps3 games to ps4, it's leaps and bounds better. Very impressed so far.
