Early 'Destiny' Beta Access Available for PS4 Owners

8CN: A new trailer debuted tonight for Destiny showing off some of the world and enemies that can be found. The gameplay looks similar to Halo, though I guess that's to be expected from Bungie. It was also revealed that the Destiny beta is coming to PS4 owners first! (Bungie, Destiny, PS3, PS4)

Can't wait

This is gonna be my new borderlands, with a much better world and hopefully a loot system that doesn't make you grind or beat the same boss bunch of times just to get a good weapon

First borderlands was so much better

Here is hoping destiny lives up to all the hype

Also this spike TV launch event was pretty lackluster, besides the UC reveal not much else

JoGam  +   815d ago

For all yall young boys the game was Oni.

Yes Oni was their first PS title but with Halo being an MS exclusive and the success they had together during last-gen.I'm sure even Sony is surprise they were showing so much love for the PS4..

So stop acting like what Bungie is not an big deal for Sony. Also searching Wikipedia don't make you an gaming genius. And what if Bungie makes Oni 2?Also I'm probably older then you....

Really, with Bungie on board with Sony this gen, what does the competition really have over the PlayStation brand?

Their only hope is to give Rare back ultimate power to resurrect Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 3D world game, Star Fox, Jet Set, Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata, Goldeneye GALORE..

THIS, this would bring me back to Microsoft, and forgive then for all their evil. In my eye's, they've stolen the fun heart of gaming by buying Rare from Nintendo and eventually dooming them to Kinect = /

They need to buy back as many original Rareware employees that they can, then expand the talent pool and revive the fun in games = ) This is their only chance..

Until then, Greatness Awaits xoxoxo

Problem is... Rare didnt own the IPs to donkey kong or i think star fox and I am pretty sure they dont own James Bond games either. That leaves Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark and Viva Pinata none are games people are overly interested in.

I know they don't own DK, and switched to Perfect Dark instead of paying the Bond enterprise, but still, Microsoft is always boasting about their money = ) and I can dream right?

I realize this will never happen and therefore will not be straying back.. ever..

8 years on Xbox 1/360 was enough for me. Ps4/Wii U + Oculus Rift this gen for me :D

You might have not heard of this game, but there is a lot of talk concerning a game called Titanfall. Also, oddly enough, people still like Halo.

Wow seeing a bungie game on a Sony system brings tears of joy to my eyes lol.

Early beta? Does this kind of deal have compensation? I mean, it is surely a good amount of money to do it.

The beta will come for both consoles, so will the game. Again, is it worth?

The Halo-killer for the PS4 from the original developers of Halo. There is the slight hint of Halo but cranked ten times higher. It shows that Bungie is now free to pursue their art the way they want. The PS4 graphics are really doing justice to being the lead development platform.
