GamesAsylum | Deadfall Adventures – Review

It can be fascinating to discover how a pre-conceived mental image of something can be entirely different from the reality. After watching the trailers for this FPS prior to release we thought we were in for a simplistic run and gunner, much like The Farm 51’s own Painkiller: Hell and Damnation.

What we’ve ended up with is the almost opposite – a surprisingly slow paced shooter where just as much time is spent solving puzzles as it is blowing bad guys to bits. Think along the lines of a first-person Tomb Raider and you should have a better idea of what to expect than we did initially. (Deadfall Adventures, PC, Xbox 360) 6/10
