Hope they do that collectors edition in Europe.

$250? Are they insane? No thanks, I'll get it in the bargain bin once the price goes down. That's waaay too much imo, $150 is the highest I'd go.

Also like to add

"Xbox One will have to use cloud computing services in order to get the full processing power required for playing the game"

So when I get this on PC they're telling me I won't be getting that full power because PC ain't got no cloud? Or they saying it's only possible on console if you have the power of the cloud? Yea, totally buying that.

I remember when people thought $150 was insane for a collector's edition.

Will probably be limited not likely you will be able to find it in the bargain bin. I am to much of a cheap-ass to buy limitied editions anyway.

"Somehow, it seems that Titanfall already exceeds the processing power of the “new generation” of consoles." ????

Pretty sure both xb1 and pc use the cloud. If you have a good high end gaming pc it probably will look better on the pc.

That's the plan, PC. Haven't really heard of the cloud for gaming till MS started spouting off about how amazing it is earlier this year.

@Nuke: An extra $100 would seem well within reason for the amount of content is included, but I don't ever think $250 will ever be a norm among gamers...not unless we start earning enough to not be bothered by petty prices. lol

I have spent $78o on star citizen. And that is not even in beta yet. Of course I reserved my titanfall collectors edition.

I want the case, but I want to be able to hotswap this so I can play a single player game like Ryse or Dead Rising 3 while I queue,so digital is probably the way to go.

$250 for a collector are they high, that's what 4 or 5 games heck its ps3 or 360.
BLAKHOODe  +   502d ago
Yea, that's a ridiculous price, especially for a game launching just 4 months after the launch of next-gen consoles. Plus, it being a new IP.

On the flip side, if Titan Fall takes off and becomes THE defining game of the next-gen of gaming, then that CE might be worth something years from now.
MuhammadJA  +   502d ago
awesome! there's a single player mode after all.
crxss  +   502d ago
this news is so old... and there isn't anything "new" as the headline explains. how did this get through...
Krosis  +   501d ago
The same way the repetitious "PS4 will win next gen" articles do.
BLAKHOODe  +   502d ago
I'm super excited for Titan Fall, but that 16 player multiplayer is a turn off. They need to at least double that for this game to be a real contender.

And $250 for the CE is ridiculous! I'll be getting the $60 digital Xbox One version.

@ BLAKHOODe
Yes $250 is ridiculous , but I think 16 players is perfect because of the size of the mechs and maps , if there was no mechs then yes more is better.I see what you're saying though. You never know maybe in Titanfall 2 you'll see bigger maps and more players in it. Same goes with the next Halo,Killzone, ect.
