GameInformer- December Cover – Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor

GI:As movie audiences gear up for the next installment of The Hobbit, gamers now have their own Tolkien project to get excited about. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is on its way to a game screen near you on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, we feel the upcoming game showcases some of the gameplay innovation potential now possible on next-generation consoles through its groundbreaking Nemesis System. (Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Dissapointing. I cant remember a good LOTR game that wasnt the MMO or the RTS game. Btw this is Monolith from F.E.A.R not Xenoblade Chronicles. Lets hope they dont completely ruin the lore of LOTR with this.

the first FEAR was a really good game and they also made Aliens vs Predator 2 wich is one of my all time favourites.

I have really high hopes that this could be for Lord of the rings what Arkham Asylum was to Batman games.

I'm somehow disapointed that this is a cross-gen game and not fully Next Gen...

It is Monolith so lets hope that good network servers are not needed for this game to work. One needs only to look at guardians of middle earth and Gotham city imposters to see how this game will fare.

Yay! Another cross-generational game that has no chance taking real advantage of next-gen hardware! Cross-gen development is already starting piss me off!

The first time it was mentioned, i was already tired of this cross-gen thing. Not true Next-gen games, and the game has to follow the rules of old hardware.

Im guessing nobody watched the video, and read they complete article, where they said that every enemy you kill or not matters. If they somehow survive, they go on in the world and grow and you could possibly even meet them down the line, even better equiped and pissed off from the first battle they lost. A Middle Earth game where your choices matter and change the world around you for the better or worse.

Sounds great to me. Im surprised at how quickly everyone writes off a new game, because older versions werent great. The first FEAR was incredible, with some of the best AI of last gen. So Im hopeful that they can pull this together and make us a great game.

Have faith, my fellow gamers. Only 2 Days until next gen begins!
