Intake Review | Indie Games AAA

Pete Mascio says "‘Intake’ is an exciting hybrid experience. The rogue-light elements fit surprisingly well, and well I’m not sure it’s the first game to implement these, it still feels new and original. Sadly, it wasn’t able to grasp my personal attentions, but I could absolutely see the appeal to a different crowd. Maybe it’s my aging eyes and my “no love lost” for dubstep, but ‘Intake’ wasn’t my bag or cup of tea, but its appeal is readily apparent to me. I’m rarely in this type of position, but this may not have grabbed me, but it very well could be exactly what you’re looking for. It’s by no means a bad game and does what it wants to very well. It just isn’t what I’m looking for in an arcade experience." (Intake, PC) -
