Hayter (Snake): MGS4 Script 800-1000 Pages Long

On IGN's Podcast Beyond, special guest David Hayter answered a round of questions from forum posters. He details the amount of time each of his voicework sessions took for each Metal Gear. The first Metal Gear took 2 weeks, Metal Gear 2 three weeks, Metal Gear 3 one month, and Metal Gear 4 took an unprecedented nine months to record audio for. The script, he says, is approximately 800-1000 pages long, the equivalent to eight to ten hours of dialogue. Listen in at 21:00 for this information.

The story is too old to be commented.

I wonder how much memory that is alone? anyone care to take a stab at it?

I remember Heavenly sword was 10 gigs of sound alone, and that was a short game.
