Look nintendo i will not buy a wii u if your next zelda game is toon link. I want that tech demo you showed at E3 2 years ago. Toon link is cool but no to another toon link right now.

I also really want another realistic Zelda.
That said, if that is not the case with the next releases, that is not going to stop me from buying it.
At the end of the day, Zelda is one of my absolute favorites and I am not going to miss a single one if I can help it.
Also, at the end of the day, I loved Toon Link.
As colonel said, he is definitely the most expressive. A personality really shines through with that art style.

Nothing wrong with toon link but that tech demo is well to great to not see a full game made of it.

I think people loved Toon Link because he was very expressive. He was the first (and only, actually) Link to have great expression in his eyes and face for every thing that happened around him. You could tell if he was scared, happy, nervous, etc.

And a lot of people loved Wind Waker for the variety of the worlds and gameplay it had.

this kind of reminded me why everyone was so upset the first time they saw toon link. when it was first announced that a zelda game was in development for the game cube nintendo showed a photo realistic demo, and when the game was closer to the release they finally showed footage of wind waker, and everyone freaked out. i think the demo footage is on youtube. i'm a nintendo fan, but i hope that nintendo learned from that mistake. i don't think fans would have been as pissed if they never showed the realistic demo.
