Secretly Dreading the PS4 Launch

CCC Says: "I've decided I need a launch PS4. I've been a strong supporter of Sony ever since the original PlayStation, and my love for its consoles and handhelds rivals my affection for Nintendo. In fact, I believe I've been more loyal to Sony over the years, seeing as how I didn't get in on the N64 or GameCube until after I'd already owned a Wii.
Of course, there's a problem. Things can never go perfectly smoothly when a console launches, and there’s bound to be some issue. Mine is one that I'm sure many others share. I know I want and need a PS4. (I have to be prepared for Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect 4.) I just don't know what I'm going to do with the console once it launches."

I can sort of agree with this article. This is also my first time buying a console at launch and if im honest I too am a little disappointed at the number of big AAA console selling exclusives at launch. But with the ones they do have added with all the F2P/indie/multiplatform games on offer I am still perfectly satisfied with my purchase.

Don't worry. That lack of AAA exclusives is usual for ALL systems...except maybe the Vita. That lineup was fantastic. Both the PS4 and XBO have decent lineups, compared to older generations. Still, it would have been nice to see Watch_Dogs make launch.

She's worried because she doesn't like FPS's, Assassin's Creed, sports games, or racing games. So, she's missing out on Killzone: Shadow Fall. :/ I know we all have different tastes, but why even get a console at launch if you only like one or two genres?
