COD: Ghosts - Unofficial Ghosts RAM Fix Makes Multiplayer Playable On Systems With Less Than 6GB RAM

DSOGaming writes: "And here is comes a new challenger. A couple of days ago, a Ramfix was released for Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts. Yes, that tool (or should we say 'cracked' executable file) allowed the game to run on systems with less than 6GB of RAM, however the only mode that was available was its Single Player mode. Modder 'master131' has come to the rescue though and released a new tool that unlocks the RAM requirement, makes both SP and MP available, and does not alter the game's executable files."

That game shouldn't be requiring more than 1GB Of ram how the hell his game takes 6GB of ram with ugly texture!

Agreed on the memory requirements though I wouldn't call the textures ugly. I could understand it if it was a brand new engine but it's just more of the same with some added bits bolted onto the old engine. It runs horribly only 8GB system though admittedly my 6870 1GB card is probably the bottleneck but it runs Battlefield 4 better than it does Ghosts

Inb4 this is taken down by Activision.

There is nothing in this game that would require over 1gb of RAM. It is definitely the ugliest "next gen" game. I downloaded it on PC to see it for myself. It is friggin terrible. I didn't have any issues running it as I have 16gb of RAM and a 660ti.

Being very poorly optimized is the only reason it pushes any gaming PC. The only positive I can give it is the space part which looked ok. Every other part of the campaign looked like shit for a "AAA" game in 2013.
