Three Great Non-Mario Titles to Buy With Your Wii Mini

Hardcore Gamer: So you never purchased a Wii and you're interested in the $99.99 Wii mini holiday bundle. First of all, congrats for holding out so long. You're now ready to swoop in for some prime deals, and you're getting a way better arrangement than what we got when we jumped on the console as soon as it released. But whatever are you going to play? (Wii)

I really don't understand why someone would get the Wii Mini when you can get a regular Wii for cheaper... Not to mention it has more features than the Mini does...

I can sort of understand the appeal it might have in Japan, since a lot of people have small houses with limited space. But even then, the Wii isn't a huge console that doesn't take up much space to begin with.

I think it's the same sort of logic as the 2DS. It costs a little less, it does a little less, it isn't as good, but you're saving money at the cost of worthless (in your opinion) features.

Seeing as how the WiiU is backwards compatible I may just get these games as well when I end up getting one. I've been really interested in trying Xenoblade Chronicles, I just never got a wii to actually try it out.

I would say Muramasa myself. That game looked amazing and played just as well.

You know, this article came while I am knees deep playing Xenoblade Chronicles on my Wii U (I have few games for Wii I have to 100% including Mario Galaxy 2, DKCR and Xenoblade), and I can say with certainty that Xenoblade is not only the best JRPG this generation but is also among the best ever, and is quickly becoming my favorite JRPG of all time. I just don't know why I neglected that gem for so long, but then again, late is better than never; I must advise every gamer not to miss this absolutely incredible game and try as much as you can to play it on Wii or Wii U.
You can see why MonolithSoft's X became my most anticipated game in 2014 after finally playing Xenoblade!
