The Last Of Us: DLC I’d Like To See Happen

Sean Halliday of Pixel Gate writes:

''The Last of Us has dazzled the masses with its hard-hitting story and brutal world. Ellie and Joel’s journey may have ended, but the game’s universe is still teeming with stories to tell. Throughout the game there are notes that detail other survivors’ struggles, and these notes contain some great (or horrific) stories that feature interesting characters.'' (PS3, The Last Of Us)

Would definitely like to see the Firefly backstory. Better yet, have the ability to play from the Firefly perspective.

Id rather play as an infected ala "Dead Head Fred." What?

I'd like to see them add in a story from the perspective of the military or possibly as a police officer trying to get back through the chaos to their family etc and then trying to get to a safe place. There is so much they could do with TLOU 2.

I'd prefer not to play as any of the other characters mentioned in the first game as part of the enjoyment of TLOU (for me) was reading the letters and notes and seeing what other people has gone through and wondering what happened to all of them. I think part of the magic that made TLOU so awesome was that we all used our own imagination on what happened to others as we went along - just my own thoughts though.

Great game - hope there is a sequel on PS4.

I would love to see a story focusing on the early days of both the fireflies and a group of hunters as they (potentially unknowingly) work against each other trying to survive. By the end of the game, it's pretty easy to forget that both sides are nothing more than humans trying to survive in this world, albeit through very different methods. Unfortunately, something like that would probably be a bit hefty for a single DLC pack.

I feel like Ish's story is better left as is, but I can understand why people would want to experience his journey firsthand.
