Gamespot- Path of Exile Review

GS:The first leg of the journey is a familiar one: within moments of waking on a lonely beach, you are fending off the lurching undead, receiving only a few words of encouragement to help you find your bearings. And that's just fine. Clicking on monsters until they die is now a role-playing tradition, and Path of Exile trusts your instincts. It allows you to discover its world's mysteries without immediately overwhelming you with its complexities. And it all starts with the clicking, as it so often does. (Path of Exile, PC) 9/10

This is the true/real successor to Diablo II this other garbage/trash/abomination game Blizztards name Diablo III was made for WoW casual noobs not for old school Diablo fans, play this game & u will understand why we loved Diablo back then because it was dark & gritty full of gore & blood & because we have a choice on how to mold our char we have the option to distribute skill points & stats points & make our own unique build there is nothing of the old magic of Diablo 1/2 on the sequel nothing it's an EPIC FAIL like no other worst sequel of a popular IP & most disappointing game of the last decade.

Umm thats why its called Diablo 3 not 1/2. Btw epic fail would be any other arpg. Just the sheer number of ppl playing D3 online at any time proves you're wrong. Well subjectively you are right to yourself. Well play by yourself when half these other arpgs will have empty servers.

Anyways its a decent arpg. I am one of the early supporters/founders pack buyers and will tell you its quite fun, skill tree a bit daunting at first, gameplay is medium paced, graphics are old school, all dungeons have a similar structure and path finding system so no hand crafted Diablo 3 ones here. Overall its a pretty decent game. But honestly I played D3 roughly 10 times more than this if it means anything and I don't play PoE anymore. It lacks the polish that D3 has.
