Dead Rising 3: How Vehicular Mobility Kills Frame Rate, Most Erratic Weapon

Zombie survival video game, Dead Rising 3 developed exclusively for Microsoft's Xbox One console has some issues like the previous Dead Rising games, claim reports. One of the most erratic weapons in the game is the Sentry Cat. (Dead Rising 3, Xbox One)

Kinda funny that they have it "locked" at 30fps , but there is frame drops hmmm. Maybe locked means something else now.

Maybe they should render the game in native 480p and then upscale it to 1080p (because there is no difference obviously) to make it stable at 30fps.

Made me laugh

Locked means it cant go above 30fps, not that it never dips below.

Remember during E3 how it struggled to maintain above 24fps? 30 GPS is a godsend to them. Wonder what corners they had to cut.

the first one was resolution, on E3 they proudly anounce it in glorious 1080p only on the xbone, lol

Honestly I laugh when dev's say locked...because I have yet to play a game that never a had a dip deepening on camera manipulation.

Article says its gonna release for $30 ?
Thats a positive
rdgneoz3  +   606d ago
Um, I think the article might be wrong... The Joystick article says the season pass for DLC is $30, and amazon is listing it (the Day one edition of the game) as $60 atm.

After all the hype and focus on it as a launch title, its more like an admission of guilt. Embarrassment.

The opposite was true of the Halo ODST where they increased the price to a full game.

Edit: Okay. Just bad reporting. Very bad.

Actually, the whole site's just horrible. Especially hate the video that automatically plays.

Why review a demo? Shouldn't they wait for the final product?
rdgneoz3  +   606d ago
It's not a review of the game at all. There is no score. Joystick was just pointing out frame rate issues it noticed when trying out the demo at an "Xbox One showcase event in San Francisco."

Demos are suppose to give a good representation of what you'll get from the full retail version, betas are works in progress. Not much is likely to change with 2 weeks till the game launches.

Let's all focus on some bs negative article when almost all of the previews from this hands on event have been overwhelmingly positive. This game is gonna be really good...sorry guys!
Jack_Of_All_Blades  +   606d ago
Yeah Ok I think you'd be the expert on exactly what it is gonna be
mkis007  +   606d ago
Why are you sorry?
mhunterjr  +   606d ago
Well this is an article about a next gen xb1 game, and if we didn't focus on negative, we wouldn't be n4g... it's no different from the all the attention that the negative ryse articles get... despite the majority of previews viewed the game in a positive light.

Have you seen all those crowds of Zs? Never seen anything like this. O_o

And something else.. Game media are getting huge amount of attention, users, "hits" because of this XBO/PS4 arguing, by provoking all this crapy holywars. Be smarter.. get both consoles, or buy whichever you like, and enjoy it! Stop wasting your time on stupid arguing.
