Need for Speed – Developed by EA Sports?

Future Need for Speed Titles will be published and developed under EA Sports, as an effort to boost their sales. (EA, Industry, Need For Speed, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Yea As I'm pretty sure no one differentiates the different divisions of EA. It's all just EA to pretty much everyone but the stockholders.

They still don't understand. Need for Speed + cops + multiplayer is their biggest selling point. This new game will sell at a decent rate I believe.

I do agree some semi sim, and Underground titles could work well for the series as well. They have zero structure with NFS. They just pop out an idea and run with it. Like The run. They need a structure and sadly at EA Sports they will get one. The real reason they are doing this is because Criterion is giving up on Racing games. I was hoping for a new Burnout before that happened, but they are "Making something new" I don't know what that means, but I suspect if its anything its likely a new EA shooter IP. Since EA has announced nothing to compete with Titanfall or Call of Duty in 2014 it makes sense.

If they somehow manage and make a worthy NFS:Underground sequel, which i highly doubt.

Maybe *if* they listen to the highly demands the fans are asking, can't point out the obvious, the sales will increase & i don't doubt it.

It will boost sales because it'll have the "E, A Sports, IT'S IN THE GAME!" yelled at you every time you play NFS.

And you'll have sports players driving sports cars, while displaying sports statistics on the windshield of the car.

Hasn't EA sports ruined madden enough and the football game genre as a whole as it is already ?

Geez, if this is the case then need for speed rivals will be my last need for speed game i buy because if the madden series is any indicator we as fans might as well kiss the the need for speed series goodbye too.....and that'll mean a good loss of NFS fan base to other racing titles like driveclub and the crew that will be out next year.

We'll get another great NFS game when EA makes me lead designer of the next entry. Since that will never happen, we will never see another descent NFS game again ;] LOL
