Console wars... here we go again.
more like let it end already i'm tired of this BS war
This gen marks the 4th for sony and 3rd for MS and 6th for nintendo and is considered the 8th overall. it's the ultimate daytime drama that captures the viewers attention. the players change but the same rules apply. the object is to provide a platform for fun and entertaining games while at the same time, innovating on the basic principal set forth by those before it. Let's get it on!
There's no winner when a war is based on opinion.
Something has to stop in order for it to begin. "There's no winner when a war is based on opinion" ^Well said Here have a bubble
This is a time for adults with little to no self-esteem to have arguments over the internet about why their console is superior.
Yeah, but the Xbone and PS4 don't have blast processing! Sega genesis rules!
15/11/2013 22/11/2013 Let the games begin. Nexus 7 2013
Whenever the console launch day comes up, I feel like a spiderman meme :P Everyone's excited for X1 on Nov. 22... while I'm sitting here waiting for PSVita Tearaway release.
Or how about we just play games instead. Leave the console war to the companies that actually make the consoles.
How about No
Wait, this is news to me. "Let the console wars begin?" Um, have you been to any of the gaming sites for the past 8 months? This sh*t has been in full effect for the better part of a year now.
"t seems like a simple equation. It's one or the other: either it's Xbox One or it's PlayStation 4." it doesnt have to be one or the other. it can be both. Maybe not right away but for many gamers they will eventually buy both. There will be games that you cant play any other way. the prices of consoles do come down to attainable levels. it has been that way for years. We may start out a console gen with a preferred platform but somewhere along the way we usually pick up the others as well. there is just so much gaming goodness across the board not to pass up.
This is a war that was already over since both reveals. Now is all about console preference and gaming.
>Let the console wars begin So you're telling me everything argued beforehand has been the warm-up? Gez, this is going to get rough.
When will gaming journalists realize that we are getting sick of them pitting us against each other? God I hope it's soon. Why can't the title be "Xbox One and PS4: Why We Should All Be Excited".
Why does there even have to be a war? Can't everyone just like what they like, and be done with it? Life is too short for silly wars.
Xbox One vs PS4. Wii U apparently isn't in the running.
The wii u is hardly next gen. It may have some fun games. But the graphics r crap put next to the other two. I love me some some nintendo exclusives but new ips r not their strong suit these days
So true, so true. Another zelda or super smash brothers doesn't excite me too much anymore. I wish Nintendo would be a little riskier with ip's.
What's with ppl denying there's a war? As if its some sort of made up phenomenon? Coke and Pepsi have been in a cola war since 1965. In free enterprise, competitors are said to be in a war for our dollars. We consumers have our preferences and those preferences drive the war. It exists because of us. So lets all stop with the console war not existing. It is very real and we fuel it every time we buy a game.
I cannot see anyone 'denying' a war. People are just saying they are sick and tired of so many articles coming out stating the same old crap. As for your Coca Cola vs Pepsi comparison - I have never once in my life thought any different of someone's opinion because of their choice of drink.
Who said anything about judging others based on their preference of soda or videogames? The idea here is that the companies are locked in a duel. A war. We drive it, they reap the rewards or the decline. That's all. It need not go beyond that. No one is saying you're judged on what you prefer, just that those preferences drive the war. Sides are chosen most of the time. Its completely normal.
You're right. I read something that didn't even exist. I do however stand by my first statement :p
