Three new videos featuring loads of Dead Rising 3 footage has been revealed, which shows off more story and gameplay.
looks ok....not my type of game tho. i know its the youtube quality making it look bad but to me it looks like a 360 game still.
looks so boring.. zombies explode like water baloons -_-'
I introduce you to the Dead Rising franchise. I won't get a XBox One for a loooong time at least, but this is one of the few reasons I see to get the console. Seems fun and mindless, kind of like Saints Row, which I like a lot as well. Silly, really silly, but fun.
It looks ok. I expect it will be a ton of fun like the others are but I don't think it will break any new ground from a gameplay perspective. Amount of zombies on screen is cool. That really is a horde.
For me the only things I ask of from a Dead Rising game is hordes of zombies and a plot that doesn't take itself too seriously. The first requirement seems to be there but the second one...
I actually enjoyed the videos, the game looks like hell of a blast to play, wish it comes to PS4 or PC later.
This is the type of game, that you look past the graphical flaws much like GTA V. You get immersed by whats going on around you and not so much how awesome the graphics are. Games like this are able to get away with it, 3rd person vs 1st person means a lot in terms of what matters.
That's a good point, I think. You tend to forgive certain graphical issues in a third-person game that would never fly in a first person title (there are always exceptions though).
Stupid game is stupid. I can't see the fun in all of this...
looks pretty fun, id basically be using melee weapons the whole time; mowing them down with the vehicles looks boring after the first few drivebys.
totally reminds me of dynasty warriors. but with crafting and much better environments. this could totally be fun... but kinda wish it was F2P... either for easy, cheap mindless free roam play. or dive in and do microtransactions for special bosses (with loot) or vehicles or player customizations or something... also wish it could be on PC/something more powerful so that it could run smoother/better or on more screens. this seems like a really fun super-widescreen game...
For being such an open world game with no load times and SO MUCH going on...this game looks amazing...well done!!!
and so? you could say same about knack but who cares?
I'm skipping over the story segments completely (during previews/trailers) as truth is main reason I want DR is mindless slaying of zombies, a new open world to explore, and at times crazy shenanigans that have zero reason to be in a zombie game. If you don't get that you pretty much have zero reason to be interested in a DR game anyways. Its a niche zombie game that just won't ever be for everyone. That said I can admit it isn't the best looking game ever and if not for sheer number of zombies it would likely be possible (for most part) this generation. There would inevitably be a few other trade offs but that would be most noticeable. When it comes to open world games density has been my biggest complaint by far so I like what I see. I don't expect DR3 to be a phenomenal game as truth is no Dead Rising game can really compete with a lot of "better" games. However that isn't why I play them. I sort of see DR games as a B+ filler almost but one I can find myself going back to now and again (often just for short term mindless zombie slaying stress relief).
That guy is ripped.. He must be national guard.
