Not too long ago, Kuma the Bear and COLOPL, Inc. developed and published a game called Nightbird Trigger. The game was fairly simple as it only took one button (or tap) to play. Gameplay simply revolved around shooting a laser across a gap without hitting all the geometric shapes that populate the middle. This game went on to become incredibly successful gaining millions of downloads and having a few sequels. Nightbird Trigger X is the newest sequel to the Nightbird Trigger franchise although to be honest not much has changed throughout its history.
Adventures in repetition.
Brian Anthony Thornton of Gamezebo writes "Nightbird Trigger X, the new puzzle/shooter hybrid from COLOPL Inc. had potential for greatness locked in its sights. But in the end, a forced social element and a few perplexing monetization calls caused it to miss its target."
