A representative from ADT Healthcare, an advisory and referral service centered on addiction problems, claimed that gaming obsessions are just as serious as alcohol, drugs and sex addictions, according to a report at the Daily Star.
The day I give out BJ's for a video game is the day I'll stop playing...
I'll probably draw the line just before that happens.
lol you guys would rather spend money than just give 10 minutes of effort for a free game, hahahahaha. I hate myself.
Maybe video game, as in WOW... I know that becomes basically like crack to some.
@ Eldyraen, You have a VERY good point there...
hilarious The comparison is insane.
Yeah...I'm out too...but just a day before AlexanderNevermind!!! LOL
The trick is to use a knife and avoid sexual acts entirely. Not that games make you violent or anything. :)
I don't understand, why am I looking at a pic from Viva Pinata :)
What a ridiculous thing to think! *itches skin* It's not like we need video games *itches skin more*.......gonna play some games for a few hours till i pass out Lol south park http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_j...
Just about anything can be addictive but like crack? I don't think so.
I used to smoke 6 copies of Bayonetta a day. I even blew out a couple of veins while shooting up PS3 slims. Also sucked some things I wasn't proud of for Street Fighter II quarters. Don't be like me kids, take 15 minute breaks after every hour of gameplay.
That's so stupid I don't even...... I have never not played a game for a few days and then became violently ill due to toxins leaving my body.
What will these people think of next with these crazy articles, video game obsession similar to crack addiction ?? Yea right, I've been a gamer since 1977 (started with asteroids in the arcades, then moved to Colecovision, NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, PS3 and starting next Friday PS4) and i haven't robbed, prostituted, killed, carjacked, etc.. to get to a next level or solve a puzzle or how to beat the next StreetFighter......articles like these crack me up trying to blame videogaming or associate it as being just as dangerous to a more serious and real problem that's affected many people all over the world....it's really and insult if anything.

YET!!! LOL Seriously, though, I agree with you. It's a far reach from games to crack.
LOL....i know right, went to the edge couple times.
I used to play basketball 5 hours a day, my knees wore out and other joints, now I play games. Go days and weeks without playing with no side effects. I think some people need to just accept that almost ANYTHING can be so enjoyable that you just do it every second you can. For many, that's video games. Think of all the people who watch tv 24/7 as long as one is available to watch (I don't watch tv, at all). Not saying it's the healthiest (in terms of exercise) hobby, but it certainly isn't MORE habit forming than any other activity.
We gamers are not Rob Portman!
So, that just screwed up my launch day plans!!! Cancel the hooker. Put the bottle away. Tell my dealer to lose my number. I guess I'll just sit in the corner eating cold pizza and Jonesing!
Perhaps its just the human disposition.
