Struggling to find out who's got launch availability on the next generation of consoles, and what deals are out there? Codec Moments have collated a few pieces of info that might help if you're in the UK.
I bought a PS3 about 3 months after launch and I got one made in Japan that have one huge ventilation fan which made it very quiet compared to the PS3 I had bought at launch (and broke :( one week later). I am going to wait until end of January to buy my PS4. I have this feeling that the second production wave is always better than the first one (in any product).
I dont know why you got so many disagrees. You are certainly right from a historical standpoint. Once the first batch comes out, they can start working on flaws, etc... However, I am impatient, so I am going for day one! Hahaha
Same here.. DayOne. But it may come with the drawbacks if anything goes wrong..
I will also buy it day one. If it happens to break, there is always warranty :)
I remember i bought a launch PS2 and it lasted me many years! Ended up selling it. Launch Dreamcast still works great! Lol, old consoles were just built to last i guess. Hopefully PS4 will be the same.
You shouldn't buy an Xbox One. Its a ludicrous 500 dollars for 720p max resolution. That's a giant red flag. MS better be working on Xbox Two right now or they're going to be slaughtered horribly this Gen.
It does seem like a huge mess at the moment. Only 200 cars in forza 5, 720p and 30fps for most games, and many more warning signs. I was really looking forward to buying an Xbox one around spring but after recent previews and reviews for the system and it's games, I'll probably just stick to ps4 and Wii u.
If you waited till now to wonder how you can get a next-gen console, then you don't deserve one sir! this is like Noah telling you about a great flood and you wondering a hour before it happens how to get a seat on the boat. Survival of the next gen fittest "I say".
