There are a few extra effects on the PS4, especially in the jungle section, but nothing really life changing between the versions. As I have said before, I don't think this a great game to judge any system by.

PS4 is definitely much better than Xbox One in visuals.

I cant tell current gen looks like crap except for the space mission and on next gen it looks like shiny crap with the brightness tuned up.

Yea, I wouldn't use this game for judgement, specially Xbox One not being in the video. Honestly the PS4 version isn't rocking it. But yea not a game for judgement.

I like your style. I might've done the same, but I still have so many games I HAVENT played, so dont really have the time to replay games I have. One day perhaps.

Man you have a good memory. I don't remember the first game I played on the PS3 but I know what the last one will be, GT6. I will play that bad boy until GT7 is released.

Meh, whats with the obsession with "graphics" "textures" "resolution" and everyone becoming a Graphics Wh@r3/market analyst !!?
I am playing CoD Ghosts and BF4 now on my pc on highest settings and it's the same old dung.
You tend to notice textures and all this graphics jargon for few minutes when you watch a trailer or play the game for 1st time, and then the only thing that persistently matters and keeps one playing is, guess what?! Gameplay, control and fun factor as it has ever been. 40+ gigs of HDD space for cod ghosts!! what a waste of digital space.

Yeah but just like anything, whether it be a website, a car, the design on a soda bottle, it has to be visually appealing to catch peoples attention in the first place, games are no different in that regard.

the lighing is better on next gen same with shadows both are smooth 60 FPS but the 1080p will give you a clear view of whats going one. texture detail is low on current ten with an obvious reason. so just that with extra effects and thats next gen, but I'm sure people who buy ghost won't even notice the storyline sadly. so eh not much of an upgrade.

There are noticeable differences in scenes with a lot going on, especially the explosions. A good example is the scene of the building collapsing on the mountain. Current gen is just the building falling, next gen is dust and debris all around it with no empty gaps at all.

I could honestly go either way in 90% of the video. so many videos about cod visuals already. were just gonna have to accept the fact that cod is not a next gen title by any means.
1080P. 720P. frame rate drops.
WHO CARES. game looks ass anyway.

Id be interested to see the 360vXbone comparison, since they are the same resolution arent they?

If the resolutions the same you would be able to discern the effects better without being clouded be the sharpness.
El_Colombiano  +   668d ago
All three current generation systems run at sub 720p. Xbone is 720p and PS4 is 1080p. But we knew that last part lol
megatron00733  +   668d ago
Absolutely :)
MRMagoo123  +   668d ago
wait for the xbone version lol from what i have heard and "seen" (i say seen because it was about 20 seconds worth before the system had to be turned off) N4G will explode with ps4 fans taking the piss out of the xbox one more than they do now.

I thought the 360 version was gonna have dedicated servers? Am I wrong? Or is it next gen that does? Thanks

it makes me laugh when people say there is not much different.. If this was a comparison between PS3 and Xbox360 a few years back, fan boys would be going crazy saying one is so superior than they other. To me there is a major difference in visuals.. I wasn't expecting much from the launch multi-platform title anyways. Give the devs a like more time and they will be turning out amazing looking games.

Lighting is definitely better on Next Gen and they seem to have put a little more chlorine in the water as well.... lol. We have a saying where I'm from, "Sandwich bread, (fold it) hotdog bun, it's the same shit." Good day.
SpinalRemains138  +   668d ago
If this was 2006 the Bots would be crying that PS3 is weak etc.....

Why the sudden change in opinions? Resolution used to matter??????
