Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Review [Gaming Union]

Gaming Union: "While other new franchises from this generation may be able to compete in the critical stakes, when it comes to sheer volume the Assassin’s Creed franchise is in a league of its own. With Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag we’re at the point where the franchise has seen six main-series entries and five spin-off titles on various other platforms since the original Assassin’s Creed appeared in 2007. Some might see this as a concerning statistic, but with this latest instalment Ubisoft has yet again set down a marker in terms of quality." (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360) 9/10

Really don't know about this game still... but the 9/10 is convincing...

Review scores mean nothing. I've seen some absolute horrid games get great scores and some amazing titles get low scores.

I'm picking up Black Flag because I like the series.

Seems like the problems of the last few games are gone.

Do a degree, many are gone as a result of re-purposed mechanics.

Seems like they didn't pull a 3 and farm another release out, at least.

Getting this as my launch title, should keep me busy alongside Knack, until Infamous: SS comes out. :)
