Gran Turismo 6 Track List Confirmed - eight new tracks, but Top Gear test track absent

VVV: "With nearly 1,200 cars stamped onto every retail copy of the game, it's no surprise that Gran Turismo 6's extensive and incredibly diverse car roster is the game's headline-grabbing figure.

The thing is, all those cars count for nothing if there aren't any good tracks to race them on, so it's good to hear that eight new-to-the-series circuits will be making their GT debut in the latest Gran Turismo game.

And it's five of those that'll perhaps resonate more with the motorsport and car-culture-savvy members of the Gran Turismo community, with fabled venues such as Mount Panorama (aka Bathurst), Silverstone, Brands Hatch, the Goodwood Festival of Speed's Hill Climb Route, Willow Springs and the Ascari Race Resort will all be featured in GT6." Since I am not getting a next gen console till sometime next year I'm super stoked for this. Can't wait to see the changes they made with the physics engine and what-not.

Sucks about no Top Gear track, hopefully someone will upload it with the GPS thing.

Am sure Microsoft gave top gear a bunch of money but whatever at least is in GT5 but still sucks that is not there. Maybe they will get Fifth gear lol

even though i love the Top Gear track, the Fifth Gear one would top it by 1000% lol.

I don't want them to take features out, but if I were forced to take any one track out of GT5 Top Gear track would be nearer the top of the list.

Its so flat, featureless and uninspiring.

Its a test track on an airfield with basic corners marked out by cones and paint on a runway and taxiways, not a race track. Fine for testing, bad for actual racing.

Bathurst and Spa are two newer tracks (Spa I know was GT5 DLC), and they are world class race venues. Spa is one of my personal favourites- it has variable time and weather.

Rain, at Spa. That separates the men from the boys

Who cares about the Top Gear track, sure its nice if youre a fan of the show but its a pretty boring track.

"100 routes at 37 different venues to try out - along with an overhauled Course Maker function"

Thats amazing.

Man i was excited when i heard Bathurst was going to be in the game, but i'm just finding out that Brands Hatch is in it too i am super excited now.

I can't wait for the course maker and GPS function! It's going to be cool driving to the foothills and recreating courses. Sure it won't look the same but the layout will be.
