The First 25 Minutes of Dead Rising 3
Never really been to keen on DR series, dont really like it when games take themselfs as jokes, this game with a bit more reason and realism to it, and more focus on survival would be awesome
Its not that they take themselves as jokes, they just focus on being funny so you can laugh n play around with the game (if you want) but in dr3 they put a lot more realism to the game but kept it funny as well so it wont take away from the experience that started dr1 and dr2
"The first 25 minutes of Dead Rising 3" "The first 15 minutes of Dead Rising 3" ...typo?
Not going to watch, don't want any spoilers but this really makes waiting for the 22nd that much harder.
Xbox 360 quality graphics....
the first dead rising was a masterpiece! SO immersive, so exciting - flaws and all. DR2 just didn't have the correct feeling or level design. I doubt 3 will either (not that it matters as no way am I buying an XBone anyway)
So if you wasn't interested in the xbox one why did you bother clicking the link for an xbox one exclusive? Trolling or wish you could afford one really.
I have to agree with you, i remember playing DR1 demo for ages back in the early years of the 360 and it was really fun, this game seems to have an identity issue, doesn't really know what it wants to be. and like you said it really doesnt matter to us as Im not getting a xbone either
[email protected] Umm maybe cos hes a gamer and interested in games whatever the console, owned or not.
@kiz2694 I completely agree. Some games are fine and can be taken as a joke (Borderlands is the main one I can think of), but that's not what I want from my Zombie survival horror games, I'll watch Shaun of the Dead for that. The first showing for this game had me excited, but then slowly over time it began to disappoint me. No offense to anyone who likes it, but it just isn't for me. The amount of zombies onscreen is insane :D Glitching Zombies through walls not so much :D
Have a well said from me, that comment nailed my thoughts exactly the first footage really showed this game in a different light ever since then they dumped it down and completed changed the feeling of the game. not its will be bad but its just not for me
This is why gaming company's have to big budget, they keep on going to town!!!
Aww don't not want to spoil it by watching will just wait.
Unplug the net and do not leave your room just to be safe.
I'm with you bud not going to watch as want to experience the game in full for myself. Will take the serious path for my first play through
why the zombies being eaten by the wall after you killed it
Looks current gen tbh.
Looks like a 360 game
Compare Dead Rising 2, a 360 game, to this. NO loading times, hundreds of zombies on screen at once, dynamic world, and graphics looking THIS good. This is like next gen 1.5, who are you fanboys kidding.
I don't agree with that completely, yes textures don't look out of this world. They are however doing greater things with draw distance and quantity of characters on screen at once.
campare it to dead rising 2 side by side and then edit ur comment :). Theres double no of zombies much much bigger map aside from other upgrades like texture etc.
That's because it was a 360 game with a slight upgrade.. (being honest)
Looks like a PS1 game. Ok Sony fans, bubble me up!!!! ^.^
Man, I was planning on renting this game, now that I saw this I am gonna be broke after the 22nd :o(
what happened at around 18 minutes...did someone say a kinect keyword? lol
Yeah, seems like it. Capcom guy didn't seem too happy about that. I hope I can set up the system without even taking Kinect out of the box.
Wow, looks really good. Great draw distance, with an impressive number of enemies on screen. solid framerate, and it appears they've removed the clunky controls of the previous games. Subtle kinect integration, clever smart glass integration, campaign co-op... I'm sold!
"Vancouver" woot woot!
I am not even a fan of the XB1 and I will say that this looks good. This in no way looks like a 360 game there is no way a 360 could push the amount of characters at the level of detail that is presented here. The only thing I did not like is that it looks a bit easy hopefully it will be harder than it appears.
Next gen technology huh?
Doesn't look great, but not blaming xb1 this time, it's partly a genre thing given the large amount of models expected on-screen. Also, it's rumoured to have been a last gen title, that got converted, rather than built from the ground up.
Nothing really next gen to me about this. Seriously look at the platforming and the attack animations. Then there's clipping to the point of a zombie going through a wall completely. How are people so pumped for this game?
This game looks very average to me! Where's the next gen part??
The part where you can see the thousands of zombies. The part where you can see the impressive textures on the characters. The part where you can see a vast improvement in facial animations. The part where you can see the well executed lighting. The part where you can see no loading screens in-game. The part where you can see the fine hairs on Nicks face. The part where you can see more animations running on screen. The part where you can see kinect successfully integrated with standard gameplay. The part where the map can fit Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2's maps seven times over. The part where Xbox One can interact with your phone so in-game characters can call you in real life to provide information while playing. The part where "No two Zombies look the same." The part where each zombies body had been designed so specific body parts can be detached. I'd could go on for ages about the next gen improvements/features. To prove I'm not biased, I'd like to point out one thing that was putting me off, it was the zombies which were clipping through the walls during special moves. I also obviously the part where Kinect was "Awoken", although I think that may have been due to a keyword being said.
Getting disliked for pointing out the obvious and pointing out the problems. $100 bet that if this was a multi platform game people would not be hating it.
people only see graphics and not the technical side of things sad world for gaming. it not a game im getting for xbox one but definitely next gen
looks fun but the graphics look the same as current gen. not hating on xb1. I dont think a lot of games look that good so far.
I agree with u man
This looks fun. Still somewhat pissed that capcom didn't release this on both.
All these saying it looks last gen,You just don't have a clue,go troll somewhere else. Others like me are looking forward to this so just do one.
I hate health bars. Why couldnt they just come up with a simple destruction mechanic.
This is not XB1 game, right?
Sony fanboy here, getting my PS4 day one. Getting tired of this nonstop XBOX bashing...Game looks like a lot of fun and the graphics are definitely not current gen.
Looks good to me but then I've always wanted a good open world zombie game. I know they're extremely overused these days in games but still I've yet to see any game get the Romero zombie experience just right. I still get the impression that the characterisation and writing in this game will be cheesy in a bad videogame way (rather than a good classic zombie movie way) but seeing the character standing on the roof of a vehicle surrounded by literally hundreds of zombies or driving through ruined streets that are swarming with zombies is pretty damn close to the kind of zombie action I've always wanted. Semi-off topic: The closest I've seen to the perfect zombie experience has been Red dead Undead nightmare. Due to this I've had my fingers and toes crossed for weeks for the announcement of some kind of GTAV Undead nightmare add-on. Even without the ability to fit so many zombies on screen I imagine that would be the best zombie experience imaginable.
