Lost Planet 3 Playstation 3 Review - All Age Gaming

AAG's Martin writes: "Lost Planet 3 is the latest in Capcom’s interplanetary third-person shooter franchise. It might be set on the same frozen planet as its predecessors but the game is worlds apart. The franchise has never really caught on in the west, so the reigns for this game were handed over to California-based studio, Spark Unlimited. Capcom has made it obvious that they wanted to steer the franchise in a new direction and skepticism was high concerning this being successful, given Spark’s past efforts with games like Turning Point and Legendary being less than worthy titles. Well, I am happy to say that this isn’t the case with Lost Planet 3 being their best work to date." (Lost Planet 3, PS3) 7.0/10

I wonder, what warranted a 3rd installment in that series?

Well if they were after money than it was the wrong horse to bet on.

Because it's capcom, and they love releasing cash grab games.

Is it me or are Jap Dev teams becoming worse than American? I mean They use to always have the absolute highest in quality and even the most pathetic jap game could make some American titles look like Bargain bin wannabes.

Capcom, Sega, even square...now I'm sure Atlus will follow suite because Sega bought them....

Sigh..all my childhood memories are being pushed to the point where I do not want to buy any of the newer titles, because it just breaks the feel of the old ones.

This is actually the only Lost Planet that interests me

I'll try the game once it drops to around five bucks or so on Steam.
The first two games were all around decent releases. Might as well give this one a try. Would probably enjoy it.
