Play Together...LOCALLY :)

Being serious though I don't think I've had a gathering like the one in the video where friends come to your house to play on co-op games for years.

Usually now I get a text off someone saying "You going online, I'm on now playing <insert game here>"
Chrischi1988  +   666d ago
If you wouldnt have done that, somebody else wouldve.

You going online, I'm on now playing Dota, hehe^^ just joking, I know what you mean :)

But there are some like me that do it every weekend haha, so actually I have no problems at all.

Wait...a commercial for a Wii U game? Considering Nintendo's low amount of advertising for this console, is anyone else as surprised to see this as I am?

I didn't like this commercial really, getting this awesome game non-of-the-less but this commercial was aimed more at casual gamers, which is understandable.

I just wish the commercial focused more on the solid gameplay, bosses, puzzles & powers instead of making the focus on the kids playing.

I don't know if anyone would consider a Nintendo gamer 'hardcore'. Nintendo is still stuck in the kiddy aisle.
AJBACK2FRAG  +   666d ago
Uh' lol, that's actually a bunch of bs flame bait crapola!
MrCastle  +   666d ago
@Ajback not flaming at all. I have a wii, wii u, and a 3ds I play religiously. And I would never consider myself hardcore gamer. And Nintendo hasn't really matured with its audience. A quick peek at their first party titles will tell you that.

It seems that you haven't been paying attention to Nintendo's history. They used to have a lot of mature games From Resident Evil to Eternal Darkness which where rated M games, but guess what? Not a lot of people buy them, and this was all the way back from the NES to the GameCube era. They enjoyed Nintendo exclusives more than rated M games.

You don't need blood, gore, sex, or manly superiority to be considered a mature game. There are other people who grew up physically, but not mentally.

Just to humor you, Monolithsoft's X, Bayonetta 2, Sinmegami X Fire Emblem are some of the "Mature" titles that are about to be released on the Wii U. There are more to be announced in the future i can tell you that.

@bystander I feel you about the older games, but Nintendo kind of plateaued. Perfect dark, and eternal darkness were masterful! But that' was really the peak for them. The highest selling wii u game is a remake of a 10 year old Zelda game. That alone tells me where the market is. The biggest ip's coming out is another smash brothers and another Mario game. You can't honestly look at nintendos launch lineup and compare to xbox one or ps4. Like I said, I love you nintey, but lets call a spade a spade here.

i consider you tardcore

"play together..... but not online. that isnt our focus...."
Misaka_x_Touma  +   666d ago
wasn't the focus in 3D World
Misaka_x_Touma  +   666d ago
Got my older brother and little sister to play with as well as some of my friends at church. So I am good. This is still gonna be single player game for me.

surprisingly they didn't show the new price at the end like the youtube videos do

The girl in the cat costume is going to look back at this commercial in a few years when she's applying for a job and cry.

All jokes aside, this looks pretty neat. I like the air feature. I guess this game really will use the Gamepad more, like it's been said.

The game looks great, and that was a good commercial too! Nintendo's advertising is getting better!
