The End Of The Personal Computer As We Know It?

If gaming is set to evolve, and move seamlessly across devices, then a locked-down operating system such as Windows is scarcely appealing to a technology giant such as Valve.” (PC, PS4, Steam Valve, Valve, Valve Software, Xbox One)

Is this article from 2003? 2008? 2011? 2013? I can't tell cause these articles have always existed. And no, no end in site.

It's weird how 1 guy replies to another's quote and says sorry as if he was the one saying that...

Mandatory paid online? Think sony will lose more customers to pc gaming than vise versa. Plus with steam they can take some of thier library with them. Also no keyboard/m means wont be converting any mmo fans either.

Windows is barely locked down when compared to MAC OS funnily enough.

If anything, SteamOS will probably have miniscule differences as well.

At least it's a step in the right direction, so we can have a universal platform instead.

The PC.

PC isn't going anywhere. Dunno why people continue to write these ridiculous articles.
Chrischi1988  +   486d ago
I didnt read the article, the catchphrase alone was dumb enough to get my attention^^

That will never ever ever ever happen, before PCs die out, there are no console anymore for decades.

Why do people even take time to write articles like that? Are they really that insecure, that their investment might not appeal everyone, like it appealed to oneself?
