WWE 2K14 Review – Midcard Hell I TheKoalition

Richard Bailey of TheKoalition writes:
When THQ embarked on the ambitious path of releasing 28 WWE licensed video games over the course of the last 14 years, the publisher seemed committed to bringing fans the definitive wrestling game experience each time around. Starting with the release of 1999’s WWF WrestleMania 2000 and ending with last year’s WWE 13, THQ had succeeded in creating their fair share of certifiable hits and horrible misses. (PS3, WWE 2K14, Xbox 360) 70/100

WWE 2K14 is an ok game at best, but it's capable of so much more especially since 2K are now the ones publishing it.

I still think the arcade style WWE games are the best. The simulation ones just aren't really that fun to play, feels like there isnt any excitement. Next game made for WWE should take examples from "Wrestlemania the Arcade Game" instead of being like a sim or like WWE All Stars.

NBA 2k14 was not exactly the best movement ever and i truly hoped WWE would be better but it would seem not from this.

Seeing as how 2kgames took over where thq left off i decided to skip this one and wait for the definitive 2k version which i don't doubt will be a lot different and better...i may pick this up in the bargain bin for the 30 yrs of wrestlemania though.
